Hotels near Samford:
Toward I-65 -- If you turn right when exiting campus, you will be headed toward I-65. If you cross I-65 you enter an area known as Wildwood. It is about 2 miles from campus. At the first intersection past I-65, a right turn onto Wildwood Parkway will lead immediately to State Farm Parkway. All of the following hotels can be found by turning right on State Farm Parkway. (The hotels will be on the left.)

Away from I-65 -- If you turn left when leaving campus, cross under highway 31, there is another hotel on the left where we often house visitors. It is less than 1.5 miles from campus. (It is slightly more expensive than the others, about $125 per night, at the Samford rate.) Most of these hotels have a "Samford" rate which you can request. If you have other ways to get discounted rates, you should try that as well. Sometimes the AAA rate is better than the Samford rate. The above hotels all have rooms from about $85 per night to $105 per night. I recommend the first two for the lowest rates (but still very nice).
