The business meeting of the 52nd annual AACTM conference was called to order by President Diane Porter. The minutes for the 2001 meeting were read and approved.
The following reports were given.
1. Treasurer's report
Janie Kennedy distributed a copy of the treasurer?s report including
expenditures since the last meeting. The balance as of the 2002 meeting was
$531.98
Diane Porter pointed out that the treasury had been decreasing over the past
few years because there was no surplus from registration receipts due to
increased costs to the host institution. A discussion followed as to how to
increase the funds in the treasury. Janie Kennedy agreed to write each
institution in the organization and request $25 institutional dues. It was
also suggested that the registration be raised to $20 and that the host
institution might consider getting a publisher to help sponsor the meeting.

articles. He also asked that members encourage students to contribute
solutions to the problems that appear in each Journal to Mike Hudak, the
